Of all the complimentary therapies, hypnosis is probably the one about which people have the most preconceived ideas and misconceptions.  Most people are unaware that it can be used to treat a wide variety of conditions, although many know of it's use in smoking cessation and weight loss.
 
When one's knowledge of hypnosis is limited to that seen only on stage, one's ideas of hypnosis are probably quite wrong.
 
Hypnosis is a completely safe tool when properly used to attain a variety of goals  and medical outcomes through the facilitation of a mental shift.
